On December 31, 2020, after testing the trial operation, the 110kV substation of Yangzhou Jiangdu Wujian wind farm was officially put into operation, it is the first substation of our company since its establishment on May 9, 2020.

Yangzhou Jiangdu Wujian wind farm 110kV substation, its construction started on September 28, 2020. This project is the supporting 110kV booster station project of Jiangdu GCL Wujian wind farm project of Yangzhou GCL smart Wind Power Co., Ltd. The construction included: build a new 110 kV booster station, outdoor layout, build a main transformer, the main transformer capacity is 50 MVA, the voltage level is 110 / 35 KV.

Wind power is a new source of energy which does not release carbon emission like mineral energy, and is non-polluting to the environment. Wind farm has shorter construction term, flexible construction scale with social I'mand economic benefits. In recent years, with the strong support of Chinese government, wind power industry has become one of the most popular renewable energy sources, with the largest scale of construction and highly commercial development prospects after decades of technology improvement.

Since our company signed the contract, we have started the project in an all-round way of project delivery. From the beginning, we have tried to keep balance between uncompromissing project solution and covid-19 pandemic control, sorted out project plans and inverted time nodes, and made every effort to promote power grid construction. The whole company worked together, regardless of the cold winter night, all night operation, to ensure that Yangzhou wujianbian put into operation on schedule. The construction and operation of Yangzhou Wujian substation has alleviated the heavy and overload state of the surrounding transformers. It not only helps the local people to "make good use of electricity" during the peak winter of the power grid, but also effectively meets the power demand in the region and contributes to the development of Yangzhou.
